Gower Elementary was built in 1989 and serves students in grades preK-4. One of Metro Public Schools’ “Hillwood Cluster” schools, Gower is at 650 Old Hickory Blvd., just north of I-40, in Bellevue. As the “Home of the Gators,” the school’s colors are green and white. Gower has an outstanding music department along with highly dedicated teachers.

Since 1977, the Bellevue Steelers youth football and cheerleading program has created a positive learning environment of boys and girls through its goals of learning, competing, and winning — on the field and in life. Since 1991, the Harpeth Youth Soccer Association (HYSA) has sponsored soccer leagues for Bellevue boys and girls ages 3 to 12 at its soccer complex on Coley Davis Road. Recently, the league partnered with Nashville FC Youth to create new opportunities for older children.
