BHCC Committees
The best way to get invovled and stay involved in the Bellevue Harpeth Chamber is to join a committee!
Economic Development
Chair Sheri Weiner, former Councilwoman of District 22 & Audiologist
Bellevue is expanding in a myriad of positive ways, and our mission is to drive economic growth through active engagement and advocacy for our business community. As your trusted business resource, we will be a catalyst for promoting and fostering innovation and relevancy in our corner of Davidson County. As a trusted business venture, you will earn loyal customers and foster key business-to-business (B2B) relationships.
Bellevue also is fortunate to have leaders, business owners, educators, and a host of private residents who understand that sharing the responsibility of creating economic stability and success, fosters a healthy community environment.
Events
Chair Jordan Dukehart, Catering Sales Manager at Noelle
The EVENTS Committee is responsible for the overall development and management of all Chamber events, including planning, implementing, and promotion of the event. The Committee works in conjunction with the Executive Director to develop successful events all year round, including our Annual Luncheon, Breakfast Before Business, Business After Hours, Women of the Vue events, Grand Openings, the Crawfish Boil, and the Bellevue Community Picnic!
Ambassadors
Chair Tami Terrell, Mortgage Loan Officer/Sales Manager, Simmons Bank
The AMBASSADOR Committee is responsible for the overall interactions with our members! This is a crucially important committee that advocates for our members, as well as helps our members thrive through communication. They help guide new members through the onboarding process and answer any questions that could arise. The committee makes phone calls and appointments to check in on businesses, supports members’ events with attendance, and reaches out to new businesses to see what their needs are and to help them join the Chamber!
Women of the Vue
Chair Karen Whelan, Director of Development at Nashville Christian School
Women of the VUE is designed to focus on women in business in the Bellevue and surrounding areas. We have three events a year, and choose to sponsor a charity organization each year to support through these events. Through educational fun networking events, we hope to bring together women of all ages and backgrounds to address issues related to professional development and leadership while creating a robust mentoring and support network that fosters success in both careers and community engagement.
Sponsorships
Chair Cole Crocker, Financial Planner/Investment Advisor, Strategic Financial Partners
Sponsorships are a huge part of how we are able to bring events like this to our members and the community at large. The Bellevue Harpeth Chamber presents approximately 20 events each year, providing numerous opportunities for businesses to connect and build relationships with other business professionals in the area.
Sponsorships offer businesses the opportunity to get in front of a specific audience. This form of advertising can solidify your presence in the Bellevue market or start introductions while tapping into a new market. This committee simply ensures that our members are aware of the multiple ways that they can become a sponsor and grow their business!
Community Outreach
Chair Heather Warmbrod, Realtor, Wilson Group & President of BHCC
&
Chair Amanda Jones, Senior Marketing Manager, RaganSmith
This is a new committee formed by our President and a Past President, as they saw a need to ensure that our community is heard and understands the resources available to them. This committee serves as both a voice for the community and a voice for the Chamber.
Picnic
Chair Cole Crocker, Financial Planner, Strategic Financial Partners
&
Chair Chad Crow, Senior Project Manager, American Constructors, Inc.
The Bellevue Community Picnic is an annual festival managed by the Bellevue Harpeth Chamber of Commerce. For more than 40 years, the Bellevue community has gathered for free watermelon, kids’ activities, delicious food, music, fireworks and fun. Next year will mark the 44th year, and we have big plans! This committee will start meeting at the end of September to start planning the 2023 BCP, so if you want to be part of something truly memorable, join now!
Operations
Chair Hattie DeWalt, Bellevue Community Foundation President & Executive Director, Women In Numbers

&
Chair David Hart, Incoming President of BHCC & CPA, CGMA, CVA, CFF at ATA
