Bellevue, a thriving community of approximately 46,000 Nashville residents, was named #31 in Money Magazine’s Top 100 Places to Live. Clarksville, Tenn. was named #1.
Last month, the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. alerted the Chamber that Bellevue was a finalist for the list, adding that Money’s editors had contacted them for more information. After providing photos and information, Chamber leaders waited with anticipation until the list was revealed on September 16th.
The Top 100 List, first published more than 30 years ago, takes into account each city’s economic health, cost of living, diversity, public education, income, crime, ease of living and amenities, among other data points. Bellevue made the list due to its unique characteristics for outdoor recreation, economic growth and quality of life.
Amy Napoli, CEO of the Bellevue Harpeth Chamber, said “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be included in the Top 100. Bellevue is a special community with wonderful people, great leadership, beautiful natural resources, a thriving economy and close proximity to downtown. Our community should be very proud.” Chamber President Steve Blume added, “It’s one thing for our Bellevue Harpeth Chamber of Commerce to shout out all the great reasons to live, work and play here, but to have that validated by Money Magazine is outstanding. Our not-very-well-kept secret is out!”
In 2017, The Chamber produced a video to promote Bellevue. It can be seen here. Join the more than 3,000 people currently following The Bellevue Harpeth Chamber on Facebook and Instagram to keep informed on the great things going on in our community.
