Brand and Image consultant Mila Grigg was the keynote speaker at this month’s Women of the VUE event. Grigg, owner of MODA Image and Brand Consulting, spoke to more than 50 professional women at the Ford Ice Center about developing and communicating their personal and professional brand. Grigg emphasized the importance of using LinkedIn, using storytelling, and consistently approaching everything we do with our core values in mind.
Presenting sponsor, Vanderbilt Health’s Managing Editor of Digital Content for mysouthernhealth.com, Linda Zettler, presented information about the site’s content and how women in the group can take advantage of a vast array articles and information on wellness, healthy cooking, and multiple health topics.
Attendees were extremely generous with their donations of feminine products for On the Dot, a local charity dedicated to making sure young girls in the area have the supplies they need.
The Bellevue Harpeth Chamber’s “Women of the VUE” program is designed to focus on women in business in the Bellevue and surrounding areas. Through educational and networking events, we hope to bring together women of all ages and backgrounds to address issues related to professional development and leadership while creating a robust mentoring and support network that fosters success in both careers and community engagement.
Information about our next meeting in February will be announced soon.
