NCS will be starting their program, and the day, with the singing of the “National Anthem”. The Nashville Christian School Performing Arts Program emphasizes a quality stage experience for both the performers and the audience in drama, music, and chorus. NCS performing arts students have also garnished local and regional attention through, presenting 17 Annual productions, winning regional Emmy awards, appearing on network television shows, receiving recording contracts, and working on major motion pictures.

Bellevue Dance Center is about Community, Mentorship, and Inspiration. They offer professional level dance classes for ages 3 and up in a loving and nurturing environment. BDC is more than just another dance studio. The dance studio is committed to providing high-quality dance classes to enhance the overall development of the child. The school works to promote a student-centered environment to encourage students to explore dance with qualified, nurturing teachers. Bellevue Dance Center strives to be the best, at inspiring children to greatness. They believe they aren’t just teaching dance; they are teaching life skills, building confidence, and providing a safe, artistic outlet for all students.

The Howlin’ Brothers are a Nashville based string band composed of Ian Craft, Dan Swan and Jared Green. Anchored in a bed of old-time blues and bluegrass, their upbeat shows are heavy with original and traditional music, featuring the sounds of slide banjo, harmonica and old-time fiddle. Sounding like what would happen if a bunch of Appalachian punk rockers formed a jug-band, The Howlin’ Brothers play with a ferocious energy that drags you in and finds you boogieing along in spite of yourself.

Dance In Bloom was founded in the fall of 2003. Fall of 2005 meant moving into a brand-new building and doubling the studio space. To give the more serious dance students the opportunity to excel, and for additional performance experience, “The Dance Company” was created in Fall of 2006 for ages 6 and up. Located in the Bellevue area, Dance in Bloom teaches proper dance technique in a fun and upbeat environment. They stress the importance of learning fundamentals, proper form, and having fun. Their facility hosts classes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern, lyrical, contemporary, and acrobatics/tumbling for ages 2 and up (of all backgrounds, and abilities). November of 2015 and 2016 brought about the wonderful honor of being voted “The Best Dance Studio in Nashville,” by the readers of the Nashville Parent Magazine.

Hannah is a singer/songwriter from Columbia City, IN. She moved to Nashville TN to pursue a country music career. She started performing professionally as a singer/actress in musical theater and is currently working on her first EP due later this year. Hannah was a winner in 2017’s “Bellevue Star” competition.

Tommy Jackson formed Rocky Top Revue in the 1980s to dance at local bluegrass festivals and it soon became one of the most competitive teams in the Middle Tennessee area. People began to take note that there was an extra entertainment factor with this group. The team also took an active role in the community and always participated in local events and showcases. Around 1991, Tommy started teaching kids and educating them on this dying art form. Since the mid 1990s, there has always been at least 3 competitive teams associated with Rocky Top Revue. Today, they carry five square dance teams on any given competition weekend. They have danced on many prestigious stages over the years including the Super Dome (Sugar Bowl 1998), Gaylord Opryland, The Ryman Auditorium, The Dove Awards and the Grand Ole Opry.

No Good Deed is a musically dynamic and visually entertaining rock and roll band formed by Steve Dickerson (guitar). No Good Deed is a hidden gem among all the rock cover bands in Nashville. Although mainly a cover band NGD does play some original music by a few of the band members. Steve is also the current State Senator for TN State Senate District 20.

Originally from San Antonio, Rafael Vasquez grew up in the sun scorched Southwest, spending his youth driving across the back roads of Texas. “I remember sneaking into small cantinas and clubs, places where beer mixed with the smells of simmering rice and beans, just to hear music.” During his youth, he learned from the local masters of Latin music by listening and teaching himself the guitar technique that many find amazing. Currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee, the San Rafael Band continues to fuse Latin Jazz with the broader adult contemporary market, taking the reigns as a leading Latin artist in Music City. The San Rafael Band’s music is a unique combination of the fiery guitar lines of Santana, the classical technique of Andreas Segovia, and the soulful and gritty vocal sound reminiscent of Sting. This compelling blend of jazz, blues and rock has created a new and popular sound that combines the best of salsa, Latin jazz, and rock, perfect for the emerging Latin pop/jazz genre.

Jason Lee McKinney is a two time nationally signed recording artist, powerhouse vocalist, and songwriter. McKinney blends a snarling musical underbelly full of equal parts trained prowess and an almost out of control attitude; soaring sing along hook melodies, with lyrics that are raw and raucous, reflective and radiant; simultaneously weaving a narrative that is both uniquely his and everyman’s story. An intellectual troubadour who writes and sings from the depths of an earthy soul.

Ben Zolkower currently serves as Band Director at Hillwood High School in Nashville, Tennessee, a position he has held since 2014. Under his direction, his groups have received ratings of superior at events across middle Tennessee. The Hillwood marching band, which included this drum line & Color Guard performed in Chicago’s 2016 St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Thank you to our Sponsors, Volunteers and Dignitaries!!

The SP8 Band consist of three siblings, Tony Gino Speight 2nd, Tabitha Speight and Tiffany Speight. The last name may sound familiar because they are the children of Gino Speight & Tight Noise party band. SP8 band members are not novices when it comes to carrying on the legacy or walking in the footsteps of their dads musical talent. These live entertainers traveled with their dad and performed in his band for over 13 years. They have performed at numerous venues throughout the country including casinos, festivals, & cruise ships, The SP8 Band has also performed internationally in Europe and Asia. The SP8 Band will give you a spectacular show to not only hear, but to watch. A talented high energy band with a flare that is not the typical party band, but one of the most entertaining bands around. So get ready to get down, get funky, and get loose as you dance the night away with The SP8 Band. This show performance is always going to be an original unforgettable experience that will have you wanting more!
